Sharmila and her husband Anil can certainly influence the Christian voters in Telugu states. But will it make any difference for the KCR party?
Yes it can make some difference for Jagan in AP, if Sharmila campaigns in AP.
She has met Sonia and Rahul in Delhi and is all set to merge with the Congress party. Jagans main plank is anti-Congress. Now Sharmila is with Congress and naturally, Vijayamma also follows Congress.
Deserting Sharmila and Vijayamma and the death of Viveka will make all the difference for Jagan and YSRC, but BRS and KCR will not have a bearing.
The Congress will get some boost in the Campaign if she joins Revanth in Telangana. The fact that Sharmila could not sustain her YSRTP till the elections shows that she has no steam left for the future.
She wanted to be the CM of Telangana and ended up begging for an MLA seat from the Congress. She will definitely get a seat and we have to see how far she will be able to win it.
These days it is not the leader who is influencing the voters, but it is the amount of money. A strong leader with good amount of funds will be able to win the elections.
There is a dearth of funds for the Congress party. Brother Anil will get some Christain votes for his wife Sharmila and that will not ensure her victory.
Many of them dont approve that she belongs to Telangana. She was married to her relative in Andhra and later she got married to Brother Anil who is a Brahmin from Telangana.
The fact that she is joining Congress shows that she is not competent to lead the people.
