After Revanth , Chandrababu Naidu has also promised a free bus ride for the women in Andhra Pradesh. But both L and T and also the PM Modi has also objected to the free ride.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s scheme offering free bus rides for women has prompted L&T to re-evaluate the Hyderabad Metro.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed how free schemes deplete state coffers, stating, “Poll sops that lead states to struggle for funds are unjustifiable. Parties have no right to deplete state coffers for the sake of elections.”
Modi opined that the leaders have no right to distribute the wealth of the Government for free rides. What will the new in coming CM in AP do in the future has to be seen.
Revanth the Telangana CM on the other hand said that if not L and T some one else would be identified to run the Metro. With no women coming for the Metro, Land T is facing the losses.
It has to be seen what would Revanth and the coming CM Chandrababu with the free ride for women. After winning the election Chadnrababu cannot go back on the free bus ride scheme.
