The Congress is in shambles across the country, especially in the Telugu states. When it comes to Telangana, D Srinivas the former PCC President has joined the TRS and now is poised to make a come back into the Congress party.
But the reality is that the Poll strategist who was supposed to revive the Congress is now going against the party. He is trying to mobilise all the parties against the BJP keeping the Congress aside.
D Srinivas is a senior who sold the tickets openly in the congress and came to power twice along with the leader YS Rajasekhar Reddy.
DS has served as the PCC chief and a minister twice. As a senior leader, he has considerable clout among the BCs across Telangana. His joining would be a useful addition to the Congress Party, PCC sources say.
He is likely to emerge as a chief strategist of the party ahead of the 2024 elections. But how far Revanth Reddy and D Srinivas will work together is the big question.
The BJP is surging forward in Telangana. The TRS which has money and muscle power is in trouble with the emergence of the BJP. Taking this into account it is not easy for the Congress party to succeed in Telangana.
