The BJP leaders in Delhi have realised that the leaders in Telangana were pulling the chariot in different directions. Taking the differences of the leaders into serious account they have appointed Sunil Bansal for Telangana as the in-charge.
Bansal in fact has won the UP elections for Yogi. BJP president JP Nadda announced Bansal’s new assignment. Now Bansal has become the Prashant Kishore of the BJP.
The first assignment for Bansal could be the Munugode elections. Working for one constituency will be an easy task for Bansal as he had handled hundreds of constituencies earlier.
The BJP with Komati Reddy Rajagopal Reddy is surging ahead against the Congress and the TRS here in Munugode. It is a life and death question forRajagopal who has chanaged the party.
Sunil Bansal, who is counted among the party’s chief strategists, played a key role in scripting the party’s spectacular victory in 2017 that propelled Yogi Adityanath as Uttar Pradesh chief minister, and then in 2022 when the BJP retained power in the state.
Bansal will take charge of West Bengal from Kailash Vijayvargiya, who is also a national general secretary. He has also been given charge of Telangana where the BJP is aggressively preparing for the 2023 assembly polls.
