The dancers union in Tollywood has given a call for the new dancers to come for selections. The idea is to generate new dances so that they need not depend on dancers from other states.
The 30-year-old dancers union has taken up this initiative and resolved to give membership to selected dancers as we need more lady dancers and choreographers.
The Telugu film industry boasts of ace choreographers like Johnny, Shekhar, and Ganesh masters are ruling the roost in the south.Rakesh’s master who used to encourage the young dancers has died.
There is every need for the new dancers to step in.
Dancers Association President Chandrasekhar said, “Till now, we have 130 dance masters and 500 dancers in the industry along with 200 non-members. We are conducting auditions to spot more talent in Telugu states,” he adds.
The Telugu film industry is growing in leaps and bounds but we are running short of dancers. Our dancers have excelled at national and international level.
Right now, the demand for local dancers is high. Hundreds of dancers are required for each song, so more dancing talent is needed. That is the reason new dancers are in need of the industry.
