While the Karnataka politics are boiling, the Uttarakhand cabinet went into the lake to get cooled. That too for a cabinet meeting. The Cabinet met in the lake and dwelled upon the development of Uttarakhand under the leadership of CM Trivendra Singh Rawat.
The Uttarakhand Cabinet first was in a floating restaurant on the Tehri lake here and that was to promote the picturesque location as a tourist destination.
The Cabinet meeting was unique as it was held in floating Marina on Tehri lake, an official at the CMO said.
The purpose was to promote Tehri as a tourist destination ahead of the Tehri Mahotsav to be held later this month, he said.
Perhaps so far no state did this like. But this destination has helped the cabinet members to maintain some secrecy.
