Bypoll peaceful at Sagar-Rigging in Tirupathi

The polling for the By-poll at Nagarjuna Sagar is going on peacefully. So far up to 12noon around 35 per cent of the polling was recorded in Sagar.

So far no complaints are untoward incident have been reported here in Nagarjunsagar. Both the TRS and Congress are fighting here neck to neck for the Sagar seat. It is the sitting seat of TRS.

a large amount of rigging was spotted in many polling booths of Tirupathi for the MP election here. The TDP and the YSRC are fighting a pitched battle for the seat in Temple Town.

A large number of bogus voters were caught by the local people at the booths. The YSRC has arranged buses for people from other areas with bogus IDs and voter lists.

The impersonation of votes was going on openly in Tirupathi. people were seen wearing masks and sanitiser was also provided at the polling booths in these two areas.

While TDP leader and LOP Chandrababu complained of bogus votes, Peddi Reddy the YSRC Minister charged that the TDP was trying to disrupt the elections with flimsy reasons.

The BJP leaders complained that the police have become mute spectators and not stopping the bogus voting.
