Shabbir Ali reiterated that BRS was the BJP’s B-team in Telangana, and both parties were contesting the Lok Sabha elections with a clear understanding and the single motive of defeating the Congress party. However, he said that the Congress party would beat BRS and BJP and ensure its victory on 15-16 seats in Telangana State.
He stated that all sections of society were extremely happy with the performance of the Congress Government in the last five months, and people have been praising CM Revanth Reddy for fulfilling five out of six guarantees given to the people. He said people are confident that the Congress Government would fulfill all the promises made during the Assembly elections.
They had started comparing the present Congress regime, which had displayed a commitment to people’s welfare, with the 10-year misrule of BRS headed by the then Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao when people’s needs were utterly neglected. Consequently, he said, KTR has been trying to push new narratives that are baseless and without any substance.
