KT Rama Rao the BRS leader pointed out in the Assembly that the BRS Government was already implementing the Rs 10 lakh Arogysri scheme and that there was nothing new in the Congress announcement.

KTR ridiculed that the Congress was not doing anything new to benefit the poor people in particular. KTR questioned the Government as to when would it implement the said six schemes.

He opined that financially it was not viable and would lead the government into a financial crisis.

CM Revanth replied:”In the very first Cabinet meeting on December 7, we approved the implementation of Six Guarantees. Of them, two guarantees — Maha Lakshmi free bus travel and enhancement of health insurance coverage to `10 lakh under Rajiv Aarogyasri — were launched within two days of coming to power.

We have decided to give legal status to Six Guarantees by passing legislation in the House soon,” the Chief Minister said.

Reddy took BRS members to task for criticising the Congress government over the implementation of the guarantees. “They are asking us when Six Guarantees will be implemented. It’s just a week since the Congress came to power in the state.

Already, we launched two guarantees. We will launch all six within 100 days as promised,” the Chief Minister said.
