Bharatiya Rashtra Samithi (BRS) has planned extensive outreach activity to touch upon every home and take the good work done by KCR Sarkar to every household. As New Secretariat and Martyrs Memorial are all set to be launched, BRS has planned a slew of activities over the next four months bringing in a festive atmosphere in Telangana.
Chalking out a plan of action, leaders belonging to the Greater Hyderabad region held a meeting under the leadership of Home Minister Mahmood Ali and Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav in Hyderabad on Saturday.
“Telangana CM K Chandrashekar Rao has completely transformed Telangana over the past nine years. He has turned a drought-hit and poverty-stricken Telangana into a prosperous and progressive Telangana. We have decided to take the good work done by KCR Sarkar to every household through Athmeeya Sammelans and door-to-door campaigns over the next four months. There is an urgent need for reaching out to people, as BJP and Congress are misleading people of Telangana with fake propaganda,” said BRS Hyderabad district incharge Dr Dasoju Sravan speaking to the media, after the meeting.
“A meeting under the leadership of Home Minister Mahmood Ali and Animal Husbandry Minister T Srinivas Yadav to discuss the activities to be taken in the Greater Hyderabad region was held today. Mayor Gadwal Vijayalakshmi, deputy mayor Srilatha Reddy, MLC MS Prabhakar, MLC Vani Devi, Gajjela Nagesh, Kattela Srinivas Yadav, former MLC Srinivas Reddy, Sai Kiran Yadav, Azam Ali, Viplav, sridhar reddy, Bharat and others participated in the meeting.
We have devised a calendar with all activities with the motive of reaching people belonging to all sections. TRS leaders and cadre will immediately take up these activities and build connect with the people.
Athmeeya Sammelans will be organised till April 20 in all divisions. Unlike regular political meetings, these interactions will be done like family meetings in a festive atmosphere,” explained Dr Dasoju Sravan.
After division level meetings, constituency level meetings will be held on April 25. Several activities are also lined up for the grand celebration of BRS (then TRS) formation day on April 27.
Senior leader Dr Dasoju Sravan stressed that not just BRS leaders and cadres but the entire Telangana populace will have reason to cheer over the next three to four months, as several historical initiatives are all set to be launched.
First time in the country 124 ft Dr BR Ambedkar Statue will be unveiled followed by a public meeting at NTR stadium.
“CM KCR has constructed a never-before kind of Secretariat which will be launched on April 30. Such is the vision of KCR that the new Secretariat named after BR Ambedkar will last for the next 200 years, leaving an indelible mark on Telangana culture and history. Remembering and respecting Telangana martyrs, memorial for martyrs will be unveiled on June 1. As all these activities are lined up in quick succession, TRS leaders and cadres will be actively involved in taking these initiatives to people and galvanising Telangana society with regular programs over the next four to five months,” added Dr Dasoju Sravan.
We must explain all the development programs that were implemented by KCR so far and how schemes like DalitBandhu have benefitted the people, said Sravan
