The CM and TRS Boss has decided to set up four party offices in four major cities in Maharashtra, including Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur, and Aurangabad.
KCR is expected to perform ‘yagam’ at the BRS office on May 4 before its inauguration. Today he is expected to fly to Delhi . KTR is also going to Delhi.
Roads and buildings minister Vemula Prashanth Reddy and BRS Rajya Sabha member Joginapally Santosh Kumar have been camping in New Delhi for two days to oversee the arrangements for the event.
KCR last visited New Delhi on December 12 to inaugurate the BRS temporary office on Sardar Patel Road and stayed for five days before returning on December 16. During his stay, Rao held meetings with Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav, Janata Dal (Secular) leader H.D. Kumaraswamy, and leaders of farmers’ associations from several states to discuss a possible non-BJP partnership to emerge as a strong alternative to the BJP-led NDA in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
The Union ministry of housing and urban affairs in October 2020 allotted 1,100 sq. m. of land at Vasant Vihar in New Delhi to the TRS (now BRS) for the construction of party office. The CM laid the foundation stone in September 2021 and the construction was completed in 20 months.
The TRS Boss is focussed on expansion of the BRS in Maharashtra, where he has held three public meetings and admitted local leaders from various parties into the BRS fold.
