The removal of LI,L2, L3 darshans at TTD is growing into a major controversy. Right now Rs 500 ticket is giving in the name of beginning break darshan. The pilgrims are allowed to have darshan but without any harathi, chatari and other things. The VVIp protocol is not more than 100 these days.
All others are with Rs 500 tickets and they don’t have any differentiation as L1.L2,L3, designations.
This is going on an experimental basis and it has to be seen. Right now the issue is also in court. Only people with Protocol are getting harathi and chatari. With more than 3000 regular pilgrims are getting the regular darshan and the time is being saved it is reported.
But the court has objected to the way the TTD has removed the LI,L2 and L3 darshans.
Only Protocol VIPs are getting all the importance and all others are being treated as general pilgrims. They are also getting darshan from a distance.
Dharma Reddy the new officer is popular for Laghu Darshan and Mahalaghu darshan that sending away the pilgrims from a distance. With this, you don’t even get the glimpse of the Balaji Lord properly.
On the other hand the TTD chief Subba Reddy has urged the VVVIPs to come to Tirumala only once in a year.
This is also not right on his part. People can come to lord any number of times. Why should someone dictate us on when to come and set the timing for the same.
