The former MP who is a doctor has a close relationship with his voters as he treats them free of cost at his hospital. The Boora followers get free treatment and also priority treatment at the hospitals where he is a consultant.
They will work as per his orders and groups from Hyderabad and other parts of Nalgonda are in Mungode for the BJP.
Boora Goud joined the TRS in 2013 and was elected as Bhuvanagiri MP in the 2004 general elections. He lost to Congress MP Komatireddy Rajagopal in the 2019 elections.
Even before the news of Goud joining the BJP was confirmed, BJP workers from the Goud community in Hyderabad got ready to head to Munugode to campaign for the party’s candidate Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy on Saturday.
Boora Goud might meet Amit Shah the Union Minister by this evening or early on Sunday and join the BJP officially. He was promised the Bongir ticket for the next election.
There is a talk that some more key leaders would join the BJP as the poll date comes closer.
