Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has instructed officials concerned that in Hyderabad and its surrounding places where there is more spread of Corona Virus, strict regulations should be maintained and implemented. Now ICMR has decided to do a blood sample survey in the GHMC area an assess the situation.
The CM held a high-level review meeting here at Pragathi Bhavan on containment of Corona Virus and implementation of lockdown. Despite taking all the measures the virus is going up in the areas of GHMC.
Cases are being reported on a daily basis. It looks like the lockdown in red zone will be continued in Hyderabad.
“The situation in the State is under control except in Hyderabad and its surrounding districts. The spread is less in other districts. All the new cases being reported are from Hyderabad, Medchel, Rangareddy and Vikarabad districts. Hence the officials should put more focus on Hyderabad.
Whoever is having symptoms they should be given treatment and all those who came in contact with the positive cases should be quarantined. Ensure strict measures so that nobody from Hyderabad should go out nor outsiders enter into Hyderabad. Appoint sharp police, IAS and Medical and Health officers as the Special Officers. Round off entire Hyderabad and eradicate the Virus,” the CM said.
