NCP leaders have tweeted that the BJPs game is over. With the court ordering for a floor test by 5 PM, the entire opposition lauded the verdict given by the Supreme Court bench.
There will be no secret ballot. A problem speaker will be appointed and the proceedings fo the floor test will be live. It looks like the BJP is poised to lose the mandate here in Maharashtra.
It will be a blot on the track record of the BJP if it loses the floor test on 27nth. It will be concluded that the BJP in a haste has used the Governor to come to power from the back door in Maharashtra.
The Congress, The NCP and the Sena have already paraded their MLAs in a hotel in Mumbai. The entire opposition in Maharashtra is very happy with the way the judgement was given by the Court, giving just one and a half days time to the ruling party BJP.
The Congress, NCP and the Sena were in a position to hold the flock together except for a few of them. Ajit Pawar was unable to gather the MLAs for the BJP and his future is also in trouble.
The hastiness of the BJP boomeranged. It has to be seen how far they will be able to get the numbers for proving the majority on the floor of the house.
