Political pundits say that BJP will definitely be a temporary shelter for Etela Rajendar the disgruntled leader from the TRS. To wriggle out of the state police clutches, Etela is depending on the central police and Governance.
That is the reason he chose BJP over the Congress party. Congress party would have been suitable for him, but the Congress right now has no power in the state and also at the centre.
The Congress leaders themselves are in trouble and cannot protect Etela at this point in time. Like the TDP MPs who joined the BJP earlier, Etela also joined the BJP.
The TDP MPS joined the BJP to come out of the IT and the ED cases. In some fashion, Etela will also take shelter with the BJP for some time and maybe will come out of it if he is not taken care of properly.
There are no examples of leaders flourishing in the state BJP. The old-timers don’t allow the new leaders to settle in the party. They create a situation where the new people become idle and have nothing to do at the party.
For everything they have to take permission and even for the Press meet it has to be cleared by the party Chief. The old-timers also mostly depend on the local media.
