Roja the film star and YSRCP MLA who became controversial by abusing the Assembly premises was back in the Assembly at a new venue in Amaravathi. She was earlier banned for a year when the Premises were in Hyderabad. Even court ruled out her coming back the assembly sessions.
Now Roja sat in the Assembly cool and calm and kept smiling at the proceedings. Earlier she was barred for abusing the AP CM Chandrababu. Now the committee of members in the new Assembly will decide if she would continue to come for the sessions or she would have to say outside for some more time.
While the Government says that she should apolozise unconditionally, Roja says that she would not do it. But the BJP members opined that Roja has undergone the punishment and she has conveyed her regrets and that the punishment should not be continued at any cost.
But the Minister for Legislative affairs Yenamala Ramakrishnudu is of the opinion that Roja must tender an unconditional apology in the house so that the issue can be resolved for now. But Roja says she would not do it again as she has already tendered the apology.
Lets hope Roja will continue with the Assembly sessions.
