With PM Modi and Congress Chief Rahul Gandhi addressing the election rallies, the election fever is catching up in the five states. KCR the Telangana caretaker CM has already completed the first round of campaigning in Telangana.
The election commission has announced polling for the 5 states and the results would be out in December. By December 15 the election process would be completed under the one year -one election system.
The latest surveys showed that the BJP would be losing in three states.
Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chattisgarh. In Telangana, it would be TRS forming the government with the support of MIM. The ABP channel has conducted the survey with the C -Voter and the people are against the BJP. Fuel prices, Banking issues, and a rise in the price of essential commodities, unemployment has been cited as the reasons for the voters to go away from BJP.
The BJP knows that they have already lost Rajasthan. But they are trying their level best by putting the PM Modi for the campaign. This time Modis charisma will not work. If they lose 3 states, the same pattern would continue in the coming 2019 general polls. Then the BJP may not be in a position to retain the power.
This is the situation at this point in time, who knows Modi might create some issue and pull off in the end as he did earlier in Gujarat. He has two months time to do some magic.
