Amit Shah the BJP chief is targeting 350 seats in 2019 general elections. The latest survey has given them 349 .If Lok Sabha election, due in 2019, were to be held today, the ruling NDA will get 349 seats.
The fact that NDA has been able to maintain a 300 plus seat share in the Lok Sabha even in the third year of the Modi government is a remarkable performance.
A clear majority of 63 percent respondents rated Prime Minister Narendra Modi‘s performance as good or outstanding. Modi’s popularity, however, is much lower in South India and that reflect, BJP’s performance in the South.
But the facts and figures for the Telugu CMs are not rosy and the popularity is getting eroded by the time. Both the CMs are trying to lure the minorities in advance as a safety measure for the coming general elections. There is a chance that they might pre-pone the elections.
