Ace director Puri who is suffering from a big flop called Liger is unable to mobilize funds for the iSmart Shanker second part.
Now Puri Jagannath is planning to make a small budget movie for about Rs 30 crores.. After a dud like ‘Liger’, Puri worked on various story ideas and has come up with some interesting plots.
Puri will be joining hands with Karnataka BJP leader Manju, who is a well-known businessman and also contested last assembly elections on a saffron ticket.
“BJP leader Manju was in Hyderabad to make some big movies recently. In the process of listening to scripts from various directors, he also received a storyline from Puri Jagannath.
Impressed with the script, he agreed to pump in Rs 30 crores since he has great respect for the director.
Puri wants to prove his winning streak and revive his career, Puri is one man who cannot keep quiet, He wants to make some movie or the other. But these days he is suffering with the paucity of funds.
