Yeddyurappa the old warhorse has won the floor test with a voice vote. Two days back Yedi has again taken over as the Chief Minister of Karnataka. He asked for the trust vote in the Assembly by saying “Forget and Forgive”.
This is the 4th time he has taken over the oath as the Chief Minister of Karnataka. But he has to prove his majority on the floor of the house on Monday.
Governor Vala administered the oath of secrecy at the Rajbhavan.
Right now the things or ok for Yedirupaa to continue in power. If things don’t continue in favour of Yeddyurappa there is every chance that the state might go for polls in the next three months time. That is the reason none from Delhi is participating in this swearing-in ceremony. No statement from Delhi over the taking over of Karnataka by Yedyurappa.
There is an air of festivity on the ground in Karnataka. Celebrations were seen around Rajbahavan while Yeddyurappas came for the swearing-in ceremony.
On the other hand, JDs Leader and former Chief Minister Kumara Gowda said that the BJP is forming the government with the help of a BJP Governor. The Congress said that this is unconstitutional.
Yedi was seen in his green shawl which has been his trademark. He was smiling and there was no tension on is face. Yeddy rushed to Vidhana Soudha after the swearing-in ceremony and is scheduled to address a press meet here.
The BJP leader Yeddyurappa, the CM candidate from the BJP earlier said that they were ready for the floor test. He was not interested in making any complaints.
