Big scores expected at Bangaluru

After losing the first T-20 at Kanpur India made a good comeback at Nagpur, thanks mainly to Jasprit Bumrah’s wonderful last two overs spell. It was a slow wicket and from crowd’s points of view there was not much batting entertainment, except Rahul’s fireworks.

Generally in 20-20 version the spectators tend to enjoy big hits, but the VCA wicket played slower than it was expected. England appeared to win and take a 2-0 lead as they were very much in the game till the 17Th over, with not many runs required. It was Bumrah, who turned the tables in India’s favour with a fantastic spell in the slog overs. He removed both the dangerous batsmen Root and Butler to help India level the 3-match series.

Today at Bangaluru, the Chinnaswamy pitch will definitely favour the batsmen. It is almost since a year no big match is played there. Going back to the IPL final more than 400 runs were scored by the teams, with Sun Risers winning the title, beating the home team Bangalore Royals in front of jam-packed home crowd.

It is a smaller ground in comparIsion to VCA at Nagpur and the crowd I am sure will have full entertainment.
I don’t think India will like to make any changes. They should play Amit Misra and Chahal as both bowled well at Nagpur. For Chahal and captain Khli it’s their second home ground as they play for Royal Challangers in IPL. India expects captain Kohli to play a big innings here.

England may bring in Plunket to strengthen bowling department. And the fact is, only three among the present England team members played previously at this venue.

Let us hope the deciding match will be a cracker.
