BRS party president and CM K Chandrashekar Rao filed his nomination from Gajwel this morning. This is the third straight time he is contesting from Gajwel, which he won in the 2014 and 2018 elections.
Chandrashekar Rao, who flew from his farmhouse in Erravalli village to Gajwel, was greeted by thousands of BRS leaders and workers who lined up in the town and at the helipad.
After filing his nomination, Chandrashekar Rao got on to a BRS campaign vehicle and went around the helipad greeting people who gathered at the spot. Later he left by helicopter for Kamareddy where is scheduled to file his nomination for the second constituency he is contesting from.
Harish Rao the Finance Minister has also filed his nomination papers today from Siddipet. Harish was confident of winning the election as he had done all the development that was required here.
After Gajwel, KCR filed the nomination papers in Kamareddy. Minister and BRS working President KTR filed his nomination papers in Sircilla. A huge rally followed him to the RDO office here.
He performed a pooja at his house before going to the RDO office along with his wife. Kottha Prabhakar Reddy filed his nomination papers by moving in an ambulance and then in a wheelchair.
BJP leaders Etala and Bhatti from Congress also filed the nominations. Being an auspicious day, today many filed the nomination papers. The polling is on 30th and the results are on Dec 3rd.
