The big directors in trouble

Both Guru and Chela are in slump market. They have no hits and the collections are bad. But they demand a very high price for remuneration. Yes we are talking about RGV and Puri . While RGV is busy with Sarkar 3, Puri Jagannath is struggling with Rogue it is reported. Both of them are with loud mouth and they don’t mince words.

These days both RGV and Puri are having very less releases these days. There was a time when Puri Jagannadh used to have at least 3 new releases per year. Things weren’t the same now & the Filmmaker has to blame himself for delivering flops with no collections.

‘Temper’ was Puri’s last commercial success. Films ike Jyothilakshmi, Loafer, ISM bombed at the box office. They became all time disasters after the success of Temper. In the past six months, Puri has approached NTR, Venkatesh & Balakrishna but none of those projects materialized.

The big directors in trouble

Tarak shelved his project with Puri after the disaster of ‘ISM’ . Though Venky gave his consent, the big fat remuneration demanded by the Director has delayed this venture. Suresh productions right from Ramanaidu days are known for paying less and reaping rich dividends. They don’t go for big risky budgets. They take Ok directors and make big movies with less budgets and make it a viable project.

Krishna Vamsi who tried with Balaiah also could not take off.

No decision was made by Balaiah on the project with Puri.. If Puri slashes his pay package in view of his recent failures, Several Production Houses & Heroes are ready to start the projects.Butboth RGV and Puri are adamant people they don’t compromise..

Looks like, ‘Rogue’ is the only hope for Puri Jagannath at present. If this flick ends as a failure, He might make yet another film with Ishaan to honour the 3-film deal with Kannada Producer CR Manohar.Lets hope both RGV and Puri will mend their ways and co-operate with the heroes and producers in the near future.
