The producers wants to play safe. Even if they are big guns. They want to produce movies at minimum risk. That was reason they want to make the movies in 2 or 3 languages at the same time.
This they have learnt it from the success of Baahubali. Allu Aravind’s Geetha Arts, Krishnam Raju the BJP leaders UV Creations and Studio Green of Suriya are now planning to collaborate to form a new production house. Their plan is to produce high budget Telugu-Tamil bilinguals, mostly starring Prabhas, Suriya and Allu Arjun. – They can be dubbed to Kannada and other languages.
Suriya is already a star hero in Telugu and Tamil states. Post ‘Baahubali’, Prabhas also is planning to make all his films as bilinguals to expand his market. Mahesh is already doing this NTR is also doing and in future as a matter of safety and risk free business the movies will be made in 2 to 3 languages.
Bunny has already put his debut Telugu-Tamil bilingual, a Lingusamy directorial, in pipeline. In a way, the new banner is a platform for these three stars to grow their market in both the Telugu and Tamil states.
Stylish Star Allu Arjun’s father and Mega producer Allu Aravind has reportedly join hands with two other noted production houses belonging to the aides of Prabhas and hero Suriya. UV Creations and Studio Green respectively are the other two banners. It is not easy for the producers to make solo movies as they could be flops also.
UV Creations is like a home banner for Prabhas. In fact, the production house made its foray in Tollywood with Prabhas’s ‘Mirchi’ only. Prabhas’ highly anticipated project immediately after ‘Baahubali 2’, #Prabhas19, will be produced again by UV Creations on a mammoth budget of Rs 150 Cr.
Now Prabahas is also planning to rope in Vivek Oberoi as villain of is movie so that it can be sold in hindi also. It may be noted Akshay played as a bad man with Rajini for the Hindi marketing of the movie.
Studio Green on the other hand is headed by Gnanvel Raja, a relative and close associate of hero Suriya. The banner has produced several big budget entertainers mostly starring Suriya and his younger brother Karthi. Some Hollywood companies are also coming to India and Tollywood for tie up so that they can make movies at a cheaper rate here and then show them abroad for dollars. Everything can be done via laptop these days.
