It’s like mass hysteria for Pawan Kalyan fans in the Telugu states. While the YSRC Government has lowered the rates of tickets in Andhra, the YSRC MLAs are selling the tickets in black. A hundred rupee ticket is sold for Rs thousand and also Rs two thousand in some places.
It is proclaimed a super-duper hit and is getting ready to be released in Hindi across the country. It is a Paisa Vasool movie and there is no stopping for Pawan. We can see the stamp of Trivikram Srinivas across the movie.
It has been made crisp when compared to the original Ayyapanum Koshiyam. The movie is just for two hours but is a huge entertainer all the way.
Hero Pawan Kalyan is known for his energy and hyperactive performances. Here, he channelizes the power in a controlled and understated way for a change. It is more to do with the character, and he comes into the zone in the second half.
There is a lot of aggression on display, and he makes a killing in those sequences. The combination scenes with Rana are the key, and they have come out well. Rana Daggubati gave much-needed freshness to the plot.
His presence is integral for the conflict to come alive, and he does a good job with it even though it’s a little too loud. The attitude and arrogance that he shows have a unique quality.
Combined with the rustic rawness of an untested persona, it brings newness to the proceedings with Pawan Kalyan. Thaman has given good music. It looked as if he is becoming overconfident after Akhanda.
