Bhashyakarla utsavam on TTD

The Bhashyakarla utsavam commenced in Tirumala and the processional deity of Saint Ramanujacharya dressed in Golden Kavacham was taken on a procession on Tiruchi along four Mada streets.

Divyaprabandha Gosthi was rendered by Jeeyangar Swamijis and their disciples on this occasion.

As Sri Ramanujacharya has penned Sri Bhashyam, he was also known as Bhashyakarla varu.

Sri Bhashyam is considered as one of the most important texts of the Sri Vaishnava tradition.

Tirumala pontiffs Sri Pedda Jeeyangar and Sri Chinna Jeeyangar Swamijis also took part in this religious fete.The Commissioner of AP Endowments, Sri Satyanarayana took oath as Ex-officio member of TTD Trust Board in Tirumala temple .

The oath of office was administered by TTD JEO Sri Veerabrahmam in front of Sri Venkateswara Swamy at Bangaru Vakili.

After darshan along with his family, the TTD Ex-officio member was rendered Vedasirvachanam at Ranganayakula Mandapam followed by offering of Srivari laminated photo, Theertha Prasadams.
