Bharadwaj supports Puri

Senior producer in Tollywood Bharadwaj said that it was the fault of the buyers to spend huge amounts of the movie Liger. He opined that there was no point in seeking compensation from the director Puri Jagannath.

There was no point in spending huge amounts for Vijay Devarakonda’s film he opined. It is not the fault of the director Puri he explained. Puri did not request them to buy the movie he said.

Overestimating the capacity of film and hero is the fault of the distributors he said. Now Puri has sought the help of the police for protecting the family from the buyers of Liger.

Liger buyers have incurred huge losses. Earlier similar kind f problem was faced by director Koratala Shiva with Chiranjeevi’s movie called Acharya.

Now Puri even threatened the buyers saying that he will not pay the buyers if they act against him. He said the buyers who talk to him properly will get the compensation.

Meanwhile, Tammareddy Bharadwaj came to the rescue of Puri by saying that it was not the director’s fault. The industry must formulate clear guidelines over issues of this kind.

They must publish clear guidelines on what should be done if a film bombs at the box office.
