After a long gap, it looks like Harbhajan Singh has realised that he has done a mistake by slapping the pacer Sreesanth. In an interview, Bhajji expressed the opinion that he has done a mistake and should not have done that. He, in fact, has lost his cool in one of the matches and slapped Srisanth openly. That IPL match is branded as the slap-gate.
Srisanth was seen in tears after that slap from Harbhajan Singh. The Mumbai Indians were going through a lean patch under Bhajji and Bhajji could not control himself. Out of frustration, he slapped Srisanth. Srisanth had nothing to do but to cry.
Bhajji said if I had to go back and correct myself, this is one thing which I should not have done in the first place agreed Harbhajan Singh. Lalchand Rajput the then coach of the team expressed his happiness over the apology tendered by Bhajji the senior cricketer. Cricketers must act as the ambassadors of the peace and he was happy that Bhajji has, at last, realised his mistake which is a good sign.
Meanwhile, Srisanth is yet to react over the incident. Srisanth from Kerala is out of circulation and he was seen in a movie long ago. But Bhajji said that he considers Srisanth as his brother and has sent his best wishes to the entire family. No matter what people say we are brothers Bhajji concluded.
