UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has announced to install a huge Ram statue on the Banks of Sarayu river to give a special identity to the Town. He said that the statue of Ram Lalla would be built according to the rules and regulations. He announced this on the eve of Diwali after performing Pooja on the banks of Sarayu river.
While controversy over Ram Temple at Ayodhya was going on, Yogi announced the worlds tallest and biggest statue of Rama her to be installed. It will be like an identity for the people who worship Ram he said. A Ram Mandir will be built with a smaller version of the statue where people can worship it. Then the mammoth statue would be installed on the banks of the river where people can see it.
It will be part of religious tourism. Meanwhile, the Government is planning to come up with an ordinance for the construction of Ram Temple in Ayodhya. MIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi said that he would oppose it tooth and nail. The matter is pending in the court and the court said that it would take up the matter in January 2019. The RSS leader Bhayya Joshi said that the people will revolt for the sake of Ram Mandir.
