Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao advised the officials to be very from with the people as far as the lockdown is concerned. With the Corona cases going up by the day the Chief Minister at a high-level meeting has suggested that the officials must implement the lockdown with 100 per cent efficiency.
No one should be allowed out of the quarantine areas unless and until there is an emergency. KCR also waned teh officials to see that people under the quarantine don’t have any issue with the supply of essential commodities.
There were reports that people were not groceries at the quarantine pints. Milk and water supply is Ok, across the city, but there is no proper supply of essential commodities.
In some areas, essential commodities were being sold at a higher price. Tamarind has become a scarce commodity. The seller’s unions have appealed to the retailers not to sell the commodities in black.
One case of Corona in one particular area is making hundred and thousands to suffer in the name of Quarantine zone. There is every chance that the quarantine will be extended in many areas of the GHMC.
