In a sensational revelation, Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) chief selector Chetan Sharma said “Indian Cricket Team players take injections & get 100% fit even if they’re 80% fit.
These are not painkillers. These injections contain Drug which isn’t caught in Dope Test”, Sharma told.
It has been found that these injections contain drug, which cannot be caught in doping test.
Now the latest is that he has resigned from his post.
Chetan also added that Kohli thinks that he is greater than the Cricket.Sharma spilled the beans on star batter and former skipper Viral Kohli’s alleged feud with former BCCI president Sourav Ganguly to a television channel in a sting operation.
He also spoke about the use of fake fitness injections by Team India players. Sharma alleged that a lot of players take injections to expedite their return to competitive cricket despite being 80-85 per cent fit.
Sharma was recently re-elected as the chair by the BCCI following his removal after India’s performance at the T20 World Cup in Australia in 2022.
He also stated that some selectors play even after failing the fitness test.
