With the centre announcing that there will be no special status for the Andhra Pradesh, now the AP CM Chandrababu has no other option but to go away from the BJP and withdraw the support. The Ministers will resign and say ram ram to BJP.
This could happen today. Babu said that they are withdrawing from NDA, but cooperation with BJP has to be decided soon.
Even the TRS is supporting the TDP over the issue of special status in the Parliament. The YSRC wants to see that the MPs resing so that they would exert pressure on the centre.
Parliament members from the Telugu states are disrupting the proceedings of the house on day to day basis and there is no other go for the TDP, but to get away from the BJP.
Meanwhile, Chandrababu has advised the TDP MPs to be vocal in the Parliament and demand the special status to the state of AP as promised earlier by the centre.
The BJP Government is in a piquant situation now as the MPs in the Telugu states are going against the centre and the TRS Chief KCR is directly questioning the attitude of the centre and also the PM Modi.
He is all set to open another front with communists and like-minded parties baring the Congress and the BJP. But how far this succeeds is a different matter and if at all TDP will join the front or not. Babu thinks that he is a kingmaker and now KCR wants to be a king for the centre.
Let’s hope all this will materialise by the next election.
