Akhanda Balakrishna is all set to revise the Anna food canteen in Guntur from May 28th which is the Senior NTR Birth Anniversary. The canteen was closed for the last three years.

The agriculture labour and construction workers used to get the food here for Rs five only. The poor people suffered a lot as the canteens were closed by YSRC Government.

Anna Canteens during Chandrababu‘s regime used to feed Lakhs of the poor for Just 5 Rupees a meal. After coming to power, Jagan stalled the scheme and closed them.

MLA Nimmala Ramanaidu is continuing one such canteen even after the elections with donations. But the remaining canteens got closed everywhere.

NTR fans have come forward to bring back at least one Anna Canteen on the occasion of NTR’s Jayanthi. The canteen which will be operational in Guntur is named ‘Anna’ Poorna and will be unveiled by the son of NTR, Balakrishna himself on 28th May.

They have embarked on this idea on the occasion of the NTR Jayanthi centenary celebrations. It will serve tasty and hygienic food for the poor for just five rupees .

NTR Fans will fund this scheme and the plan is to feed at least 1000 people per day. Annapurna canteen will be operational round the year.
