Sometime back the people of Hindupur organised protest marches against Balakrishna for failing to solve the water problem. Now Jagan’s YSRCP organised dharna demanding explanation from Balakrishna for failing to construct vegetable market as promised in the last elections. But the success of Legned and also movies like Gautami Putra Sathakarni has brought in lot of name and fame for Balakrishna in the recent times.
Even the communists insulted Balakrishna, by naming and painting the bull after Balakrishnas name and accused Balakrishna of not solving their problems. Speculation is increasing whether Natasimha Balakrishna, relative of AP CM Chandra Babu Naidu, who is now TDP MLA representing Hindupur constituency will lose the 2019 elections.
Balakrishna won the last elections riding on the anti Congress, Modi,Chandra Babu wave. After the initial hiccups, he surprised all by topping the list of performing MLAs in Andhra Pradesh during the internal surveys.
However of late his constituency is in news for all wrong reasons. Sometime back the acts of Balakrishna’s PA showing his bossism shocked all. During that time many TDP leaders even approached Chandra Babu Naidu and threatened to quit if PA is not shown the door.
But any way it is too early. The elections are too far, and in politics anything can happen. As far as TDP politics are concerned earlier Harikrishna the elder son of senior NTR was in politics and now he is seen here and there in the party circles. He is the father of Junior NTR who has gone away from politics.
Junior NTR was an active campaigner for the TDP, but now he is lying low. It is Lokesh all the way. Junior NTR was kept away in all the functions earlier by Chandrababu. In fact he was turned away also insulting him. But after that looking at his charisma in movies he was roped into politics as a campaigner for the TDP. It worked out very well. But after the entry of Lokesh , NTR is again kept at a distance.
