Balaiah the TDP MLA and super star has kicked off his latest movie Jayasimha here in Hyderabad with Puja at the Sri Venkateshwara temple.
After the success of Gauthamiputra Satakarni, with Krish as Director, Nandamuri Balakrishna is playing his cards safely.
Balaiah was supposed to do a movie with Krishna Vamsi which was supposed to be called as Rythu that is farmer. Even though he had options to choose from for his next film, he decided to go with director Puri Jagannadh, given the latter’s track record and a highly satisfying script. Apart from this Puri works at a faster pace and sticks to the schedule.
This will be the first time Balayya, as he’s fondly known, will be teaming up with Puri, popular for delivering hits such as Pokiri, Businessman and Temper.
The film was officially launched on Thursday here in Hyderabad at Srivenkateshwara Temple and it has already been confirmed that the film will hit the screens worldwide on September 29.
Film directors Boyapati Srinivas, who gave Legend the block buster to Balaiah and Krish the director of GPS were seen with Balaiah during the Muhurat shot and the latet film is being titled as Jayasimha.
His earlier film Simha with Boyapati was also a super duper hit. The term Simha is very luck to Balaiah and it is being continued.
Puri informed that the film will showcase Balayya in a new light. “After working in a historical drama, Balakrishna sir was on the lookout for a script that will feature him in a never-seen-before avatar and when Puri pitched his story, and Balaiah immediately gave his nod. A popular Bollywood stylist will be hired to take care of Balakrishna’s look in the film.”
Filmmakers SS Rajamouli was also present for the Muhurat.To be produced by Bhavya Creations, the makers are yet to finalise the leading lady and the rest of the cast.
