With the imposition of night curfew and other restrictions, the haleem makers are in deep trouble for the second time for this Ramzan also.
They will not be able to do any business during the night because of the night curfew imposed by the Telangana Government.
All put together it is an Rs1000 crore business here in Hyderabad and other districts. This time the makers wanted to concentrate on home delivery and also parcels.
The next days are crucial for the Ramzan business and the night curfew makes it impossible. After 8 PM the curfew will be imposed and there will be no business beyond 9pm.
Many restaurant owners are concerned as there is no clarity over the functioning of hotels or if they will be permitted to set up ‘takeaway haleem outlets’ during night hours.
