Chandrababu the CM of AP will be staying in Vijayawada and the Goverance will happen from the bus at the collectorate. He is wading through knee-deep water and travelling on Bulldozer to avoid waters. He is taking first hand information from the people directly on the food that the officials are delivering three times a day.
“I will provide you with essential commodities from tomorrow (Thursday),” he said. Several garment showroom managers gathered at GM Tower and raised their issues before the CM. They said all the clothes and other goods in their shops were damaged due to the floods.
Chandrababu Naidu assured the victims that he would remain in Vijayawada till the flood situation eased and life returned to normal.
He is on the roads and in water for more than 18 hours a day.
Around 500 fire engines were deployed for cleaning the dirty houses in Vijaywada. Slush on the roads and in the houses is just being washed away with the pressure pumps. Vegetables will be sold at very low rates and all under ten rupees.
Milk is being delivered door to door on a daily basis. Kids are getting biscuits.
