Chandrababu Naidu the AP CM was in Delhi to muster the support of leaders against the BJP. Like KCR he is also planning to float a new front against the NDA. Earlier KCR the Telangana CM also met all the like-minded leaders and wanted to float an alternative front which can really develop the Nation. He called it Federal front. Now Chandrababu is also on the same mission but in an indirect fashion.
With the image of PM Modi taking a beating because of the Rafale deal, babu thought it was the right time to hit the iron as it was red hot. He could get some response, but how long it would sustain is the real question.
Rahul Gandhi is able to put pressure on the Government in the name of corruption in Rafale deal. He is able to attach Modi personally saying that he favoured Anil Ambani.
But it has to be seen how far Rahul, babu and KCR will be in a position to corner the BJP. Elections are scheduled for 5 states and the results would be out in December. If the Congress and the opposition can take 3 states, there would be good chances for the opposition in 2019. If BJP can retain 3 states then it will be difficult for Rahul.
If KCR and Chandrababu go in two different directions, it is an advantage for BJP. If the entire opposition can come together and fight against the BJP, then we can expect some good result.
