There is little clarity on what the TDP CM Chandrababu may demand from the BJP leadership. TDP sources suggest that the party may ask for plum ministries at the Centre.
A preferential status for Andhra Pradesh is another key issue that may come up in the negotiations. In fact, it was a dispute over a special status demand that had prompted Mr Naidu to part ways with the BJP in 2016.
There is a talk that Babu might become the NDA Convenor. He might also bargain for the Loksbaha Speaker post for the TDP it is reported.
Apart from this he may also ask for some berths in the ministry. Now the BJP has to take care of Pawan Kalyan also. After he was the leader who made Babu to join the NDA for fighting the election.
The BJP joined the Kutami much later and just before the elections. The Kutami format benefitted all of them. Taking this into consideration the BJP has to honour the requests of the TDP and Janasena.
BJP has to form the Government with the partners of the NDA. BJP did not get the magic figure of 272.
