Telangana caretaker Minister, Harish Rao today charged that it was Chandrababu who stalled the formation of Telangana 18 years ago. Harish was addressing a press meet here at the TRS Bhavan.
Harish said that the BJP has passed the Kakinada resolution in the name of one vote 2 states for the division of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. It was Chandrababu who stalled the process of Telangana he charged.
In 2000 the BJP gave some small states, but did not give Telangana as Chandrababu prevailed upon them Harish explained.
Babu was in alliance with the BJP and he stalled the process of the division of the state which was supposed to be done by the BJP he said.
LK Advani the senior most leader disclosed the same in 2009 that it was because of the TDP that they could not give the Telangana. Even Yashwant Sinha has also disclosed that because of the TDP the process of Telangana and the division of the state was stopped. The people of Telangana must know this and act accordingly Harish suggested. Babu also has written letters to Pranab committee not to give Telangana he said.
