The ACB Court has pronounced that Chandrababu Naidu is remanded to police custody. He will be shifted to Rajamundry jail for fourteen days.
Only thirty people were allowed to hear the final verdict in the court hall. 144 section was imposed in all the districts of Andhra Pradesh.
Section 409 was taken into consideration by the ACB court.
The ACB court judge posed direct questions to the AP CID officers and Additional Advocate General Sudhakar Reddy regarding the addition of Chandrababu’s name to the FIR.
The judge inquired about the reasons behind this decision and sought clarification on why Chandrababu’s name had not been included in the earlier FIR.
There is a talk that the AAG was also asked whether there was sufficient evidence to implicate Chandrababu in the scam.
The judge’s logical questions seemed to have taken the CID officials and AAG Sudhakar Reddy by surprise. Following these inquiries, the judge adjourned the proceedings for a ten-minute break.
TDP GS Lokesh was following the proceedings along with the briefing from Luthra and others. Balakrishna was here at the court for a brief period and then he left.
