Babu-KCR to oversee the President election

A hectic schedule awaits Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao as he arrives in the national Capital to over see the election of the New President of India. KCR claimed that he was the one who suggested the PM to go for a Dalit candidate and the PM prominently agreed and endorsed the same.

It is same with Chandrababu Naidu the CM of AP who is supposed to sign the nomination papers of the Presidential candidate Ramnath Kovind along with Modi.

His schedule includes meeting the present President Pranab Mukherjee, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and several Union Ministers with a long list of demands including release of more funds to the State On the other hand after submitting the resignation as governor of Bihar on Tuesday, BJP’s presidential candidate Ram Nath Kovind is gearing up to file his nomination papers on Friday morning at 11 am.

While PM Narendra Modi, who made direct calls to opposition leaders to seek their support, will be signing on one of the four sets of nomination papers, the debate on other three members is slowly catching up.

Babu-KCR to oversee the President election

According to some latest reports, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is expected to sign on second set of nomination filing, while other two are said to be BJP president Amit Shah and former Punjab Chief Minister Prakash Singh Badal.

Being one of the prominent leader in NDA alliance, Babu always managed to achieve that kind of attention from BJP top brass.

Earlier there were speculations that Chief Minister of Telangana, KCR will be signing on the nomination papers . But, CM KCR along with his party MPs’ will take part in nomination program in New Delhi. KCR is happy that a dalit is being elevated to the post of the President in India an he is giving full support for the same.

On the other hand the opposition is divided . The decision of Nitish Kumar to support NDA has come as a big blow to the opposition unity. The voting pattern shows that Kovind will win the election.
