It looks like Chandrababu the TDP chief is in a hurry. He is driving in an Overspeed seeing huge crowds for the meetings.
There is no doubt that the base of CM Jagan and YSRC is eroding slowly. His party men and leaders are talking against him openly.
But that does not mean the TDP will come to power so easily in the coming elections.
Jagan’s over-reliance on welfare schemes instead of development may also dissuade middle-class sections, in the state.
There is a talk that he is distributing a quarter and taking away the full.
People are interested in easy money rather than development and good governance. That is the reason Jagan is confident of coming back again in the next elections.
Welfare schemes only raise the expectations of the recipients and funding those expectations would be a major challenge confronting the Andhra Pradesh government over the next 15 months.
The alliance talk of BJP-Sena is creating ripples in political circles. There is also a talk that they might take the TDP also into the fold. The crowds coming for the TDP meetings are a sign that the situation is changing in the state of AP.
Unless the Modi regime extends financial support to Andhra Pradesh, sustaining certain schemes announced by Jagan might be a challenge.”
So it is not easy for the Jagan Government to make a comeback in the coming days.
