Babu bail and quash petitions on 21,22nd

Harish Salve the Supreme Court advocate argued the case Virtually. Salve argued that the detention of Chandrababu the former CM was illegal and it as done with political vendetta.

Salve quoted the case of Arnab Goswami today. Siddarth Luthra, Salve, and Harish Salve are arguing the case for Chandrababu Naidu. The case of Inner Ringroad was also postponed to 21st.

The quash petition was postponed to 22nd. The arguments would continue after lunch. The CID did not file a counter against Babu in the court on the custody petitions.

Mukul Rohatgi is arguing the case for the state Government. Harish Salve quoted several Judgements of the Supreme Court for getting Babu released from the Jail and securing the bail for him.

The supreme court lawyers also argued for the quash petition to Chandrababu.

The CID did not follow the procedure they argued. They also mentioned that the Government did not bother to take the permission of the Governor to arrest Babu.

The advocates quoted the state of Rajasthan versus the Tejmal Chowdary case in this regard. Salve said that this was to defame Chandrabu before the elections.

There was no FIR with the name of Babu they pointed out. Where is the scam Salve questioned the court. The lawyers explained the finances of the project and said that there was no corruption or siphoning of funds as said by the YSRC Government.
