Chandrababu’s legal team contended that there is no evidence of any scam in skill development and asserted that Chandrababu is not implicated in any corrupt activities related to the skill scam case.
They also raised concerns about the arrest process, alleging violations of procedural rules.
The Andhra Pradesh High Court has scheduled the hearing for the bail petition filed by the former chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu in connection with the inner ring road alignment case to September 26.
The CID had previously filed a criminal case against Chandrababu Naidu, alleging that the alignment of the proposed inner ring road in the capital region of Amaravati was changed to benefit a select few.
The remand of Chandrababu will end on Monday.
