Autowala Shinde becomes the 20th CM of Maharashtra

It looks like the BJP has kept the word by making Shinde the CM of Maharashtra. Fadnavis the BJP leader has announced the name of Shinde after meeting Governor Koshiari.

The CM Shinde has taken the oath and the rest of the cabinet members will be announced soon.

Eknath Sambhaji Rao Shinde was born in 1964 is and is the 20th CM of Maharashtra. He was the Cabinet Minister of Urban Development and Public Works (Public Undertakings) .

He is the MLA from Kopri. He has been elected consecutively for 4 terms in 2004, 2009, 2014 and 2019.

He is Maharashtra’s Chief Minister who took oath today. From a corporator he has become an MLA. After that, he is the CM.

Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut earlier said that had the BJP kept its word, Eknath Shinde would have become the chief minister of Maharashtra. He made the statement in his weekly column, Rokthok, in his party mouthpiece, the Samana newspaper.

The statement comes after Maharashtra urban development minister Eknath Shinde and forty Shiv Sena MLAs went incommunicado after the MLC poll results were declared last Monday.

Shinde and other MLAs had camped in Surat for a while and flew to Guwahati on Wednesday. Since then, they have been staying at Hotel Radisson Blu in Guwahati.After that, they moved to Goa while Shinde came to Mumbai to become the CM.
