Thanks to wonderful stubborn batting by Shaun Marsh and Peter Hanscomb, Australia fought hard to draw the third Test match against India at the Ranchi stadium today.

Aussies were in dire straits at 63 for four, losing their inform captain Smith’s wicket and defeat looked certain at that time. But Marsh showed tremendous patience skills, like Pujara and got the support he needed from the rising Aussies star Hanscomb as they sealed the Indian hopes, batting for a long time.

Marsh finally fell to the most successful Indian bowler in this series Ravindra Jadeja caught at forward short leg. By that time Aussies were out of danger as they were in the lead and only a few overs left for the match.

Jadeja did not get the support he needed at the other end, though medium pacers bowled tight line ad length. Ashwin looked a bit off colour and more importantly the Australian batsmen nagotiated him well, not giving him any chance.

The fourth and the final match is going to be played at yet another new venue Dharamshala from 25th of this month, where the pacers can enjoy the conditions better. Its a cool place and the wind keeps blowig there every now and them, which I am sure will encourage the fast bowlers to get a bit of swing.
