The police station was inaugurated today by Chief Guest: Sri. Mohammed Mahmood Ali, Hon’ble Minister for Home, Prison’s and Fire Services, Govt. of Telangana State in the presence of Sri. Ch. Malla Reddy, minister of Telangana participated.
In order to ensure that the 70-lakh population and 700 establishments of Cyberabad Commissionerate, a fast-growing economic hub, receive adequate law and order, earlier a modern police station was proposed to be constructed in the Bachupally area. Understanding the prerequisites from the police department, Aurobindo Pharma Foundation has come forward to lend supporting hand and sponsored Rs. 3.5 Crores for the construction of this modern police station.
Located on the Uragutta hillock in the surroundings of Bachupally Cheruvu, this state-of-the-art Police station spans over 21,000 square feet and is composed of 37 rooms. It is equipped with 10 SI cabins, 2 jail rooms, 2 large resting areas for men and women, a security guard room, Station House Officer (SHO) Rooms on two floors with exclusive resting areas and toilets, 2 writer rooms, a record room, a CC Camera room, and 10 toilets each for men and women, besides a proper kitchen and dining area.

The Home Minister said Telangana was number one in the country in policing and that Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao had provided all the latest facilities and equipment to the police to help in maintaining law and order.
“The police are performing very well on all fronts in the State. All facilities needed to the police department are provided by the State government. A few more police station buildings are under construction and will be inaugurated soon,” he said.
In the past, people were afraid to go to the police station. But now there is no such situation. Police are interacting with the public through a friendly police system.Aurobindo Pharma Foundation (APF), the philanthropic and CSR arm of Aurobindo Pharma Ltd, has sponsored Rs. 3.5 Crores to construct the state-of-the-art modern police station in Bachupally, Telangana.
