In a severe setback to Jaganmohan Reddy Government, the High Court of AP has struck the GOs given by the AP Government and restored the Mansas Trust to Gajapathi Raju from Sanchayitha.
Now Gajapathi Raju will be the chief of Mansas Trust and Simhachalam Temple . The reinstatement of Gajpathi Raju comes into immediate effect.
The GO 72 has been cancelled by the High Court. Gajapathi went to the court questioning the GOs released by the AP Government. GO 72 released by the AP Government has been struck down by the court.
Gajapathi Raju was the Chairman for the Simhachalam Temple for decades and it has come to him as a hereditary right. But the Jagan Government removed him and issued a GO No 72.
There was talk among the people of Vijayanagaram that the GO issued by Jagan Government was part of political vendetta against Gajapathi Raju who is a clean politician.
Sanchayitha Gajapathi is also related to Gajpathis but was taken into confidence by the YSRC leaders in recent times. Gajapathi Raju was a former Minister and also central Minister apart from being a noncontroversial man.
Now the Court given him his rights back.
